An intimate wedding at eco-friendly wedding venue Donington Park Farmhouse.

A simple and elegant wedding, for a truly lovely couple, Clare and Axl held their intimate marriage ceremony and celebrations in October 2023 at Donington Park Farmhouse, an industrial barn wedding venue nestled in the countryside.

I’m a big fan of this wedding venue, which has various sustainability credentials including solar panels, and commitments to using locally sourced food and produce, therby supporting the local community, plus responsible stewardship of the surrounding wildlife. As an eco-friendly wedding supplier myself, I absolutely love being able to work at these environmentally friendly wedding venues!

This is amazing thank you so much.
— Clare and Axl

What a celebration this couple had, and I was lucky to be part of such a great team of wedding suppliers on their day, including the wonderful wedding photographer Nicole Newbold Photography. Based in Nottinghamshire and covering weddings in Nottingham and Derbyshire, Nicole is similar to myself in that we both love the natural, relaxed and timeless look, something which Clare and Axl were keen to have, not being people who loved being in the limelight! Both of us specialise in capturing documentary style weddings, looking for natural spontaneous moments rather than being overly posed, and it was my absolute pleasure to work with Nicole.

Clare’s day started off with a fantastic bunch of family and friends at Donington Park Farmhouse’s bridal preparation rooms with the Beauty Temple Group providing hair and make up.

Floral arrangements were provided by silk and faux flower specialist Fleur’s Floristry, based in rural Leicestershire, providing keepsakes from your wedding day. Love this idea!

Looking for an eco friendly wedding videographer in Derbyshire?

If you’re looking to have a more sustainable, eco-friendly wedding, my best advice to you is to find wedding suppliers that have similar aims in mind! Choosing an ethical wedding venue is a great start, and having got married a couple of years ago, I know finding other eco-friendly wedding suppliers can be tricky and it shouldn’t be as hard as it is!

I am passionate about preventing climate change and being as eco friendly as possible in my wedding videography business. I power all my wedding films by renewable energy, be it charging batteries or powering my editing. I have recently bought an electric car so I can make sure I get to your wedding venue using renewable energy too! And not only that, but I also plant a tree for each couple I film through my partner programme One Tree Planted.

If this is sounding like music to your ears, say hello below and see if I’m available for your wedding day!
